The biggest change in Grow a Garden 2 is what happens after dark: other players can enter your garden and take your crops.
Defending your garden
- Plant Bamboo. It cannot be stolen at night.
- Plant Cactus. It slows down anyone raiding your plot.
- Use defensive plants and pets. Plants such as Dragon’s Breath and your pets help protect the garden.
- Harvest before dark. Pick and sell your most valuable crops before night falls.
Raiding other gardens
Night is also your chance to take from others. Look for gardens full of ripe, valuable crops with no Cactus around them, and get in and out quickly.
Plan your layout
Put cheap multi-harvest crops on the edges and keep high-value crops toward the middle behind your defences. A thief who has to cross Cactus to reach your Mushrooms will often give up.
