How to redeem Call of Duty codes (and avoid fake ones)

Where Call of Duty codes come from, how to redeem them on callofduty.com, and how to spot scams.

Call of Duty codes are real, but they work differently from the codes in free-to-play games.

Where codes come from

Activision gives out codes through official promotions: food and drink tie-ins, hardware and controller bundles, pre-order bonuses, Twitch and partner events. Each code is personal and single-use, so there is no public list that works for everyone.

How to redeem

  1. Go to callofduty.com/redeem.
  2. Sign in to the Activision account linked to your platform.
  3. Enter the code and confirm.
  4. Launch the game. The item appears in your inventory, sometimes after a restart.

Avoid fakes

Sites and videos offering free COD Points or blueprint codes are scams. Activision never asks you to log in anywhere except its own site, and no generator can create working codes.
