Brawl Stars is Supercell’s free-to-play mobile brawler, released in 2018. Players pick a Brawler and fight in fast 3v3 and solo modes. The game runs in seasons of about a month, and a new Brawler is added with the seasons. The roster has passed 100 Brawlers.
Seasons
Season 54, called Royal Academy, ran from September 3 to October 1, 2026. Season 55, Brawl-o-Ween, began on October 1, 2026 with the Halloween event. Supercell said new Brawlers will keep coming at least once a month, so expect one per season. The next Brawl Talk, the broadcast where Supercell reveals upcoming seasons, was not yet announced as of October 20, 2026.
Brawler Blast
The September 2026 update replaced Starr Road with Brawler Blast, a new way to unlock Brawlers, and Supercell gave every player 1,500 credits to make up for the change. The update also brought a collaboration with Duolingo.
Balance and updates
Supercell rebalances Brawlers every few weeks. A September 16, 2026 balance patch adjusted 18 Brawlers, including a nerf to Shade. Balance changes move the meta, so check a current tier list before a competitive push.
