Roblox averaged about 123 million daily active users in the second quarter of 2026 and reported roughly 380 million monthly active users, with a record of about 47 million players online at the same time in 2025.
Key facts at a glance
- Roblox reported 144 million daily active users in Q4 2025, 132 million in Q1 2026 and 123 million in Q2 2026.
- Monthly active users are commonly reported at about 380 million.
- The platform peak concurrent record is reported at roughly 47 million players.
- Daily and monthly users measure different things from concurrent players.
- Live concurrency on a normal day is typically in the low tens of millions, so check a tracker for the current number.
How many people play Roblox daily?
The latest official quarterly figure puts the average at about 123 million daily active users in Q2 2026, according to coverage of Roblox’s shareholder materials. That is up about 10 percent from the same period of 2025 but down from the peak of about 144 million in Q4 2025. Daily active users count accounts that open Roblox on a given day, averaged across a quarter, which is why the number is far higher than the count of people online at one moment.
How many people play Roblox monthly?
Trackers commonly report about 380 million monthly active users in 2026. The figure counts unique accounts active during a month and does not equal unique people, because some people have more than one account. Roblox reports its official metrics in earnings releases, so use those for quotations.
What is the record for players online at once?
Roblox reached about 47 million concurrent players in 2025, fueled by a rivalry between Grow a Garden and Steal a Brainrot, according to reports. A single game record belongs to Steal a Brainrot with roughly 25 million concurrent players, ahead of Grow a Garden at roughly 22 million. Different outlets round slightly differently, so you may see small variations.
How many people are playing Roblox right now?
The number changes every minute. Live trackers show concurrent players, which in recent snapshots ranged from around ten million to higher depending on the time of day. Check Roblox’s charts or a reputable tracker for the current figure. Concurrency peaks after school hours and on weekends and holidays.
Who plays Roblox?
Industry summaries say a large share of daily users are 13 and older, and more than 100 million daily users are over 13. Tens of millions of users are under 13. Asia-Pacific is the largest region by daily users in many reports, followed by Europe and the United States and Canada. Roblox has grown quickly in markets such as Indonesia and India.
Is Roblox still growing?
Long-term growth is strong, with daily users far above 2024 levels. However, daily active users have fallen each quarter since the late-2025 peak, and engagement hours dipped as viral surges cooled. Analysts watch whether new safety rules, such as age checks for chat, slow growth.
How many games are on Roblox?
Different trackers report tens of millions of experiences created, though only a small share are played in a given day. Live counts of active experiences are much smaller than the total because many experiences are unfinished or unpopular.
How does Roblox compare with other games?
When Roblox hit its 2025 record it was reported to exceed Steam’s peak concurrent figure, making it the largest simultaneous gaming audience in reports at the time. Platforms and games measure activity differently, so comparisons are approximate.
Where can I verify these numbers?
Use Roblox’s investor relations pages and quarterly shareholder letters, and compare them with reputable analyst summaries. Be careful with sites that show live counters or invented statistics.
Key terms explained
- Daily active users: Unique accounts active in a day, averaged across a period.
- Monthly active users: Unique accounts active during a month.
- Concurrent users: Players online at the same moment.
- Shareholder letter: A quarterly report from a public company to investors.
Why do the numbers differ between websites?
Different sites mix official quarterly numbers, third-party estimates and unverified snapshots. Roblox reports daily active users as a quarterly average, while some trackers report single-day peaks or counts from specific dates. Some pages use outdated figures from earlier years, and others confuse concurrent players with daily users. When you compare numbers, check what each one measures, which date it describes and who produced it. Official sources should be your baseline.
What drives spikes in Roblox players?
Several factors push numbers up: school holidays, viral games, big in-game events, new trends and marketing partnerships. The 2025 summer surge came from the rivalry between two hit games and the long break from school. When those factors fade, numbers settle. This pattern explains why a record peak does not guarantee permanent growth.
What does the player count mean for creators?
A larger audience means more potential buyers for creators and more competition for attention. Roblox says creators earned about .7 billion in the year to mid-2026, with the top creators earning tens of millions. See our guide on who has the most Robux for details on how earnings are distributed.
What does the player count mean for parents?
A platform this large includes millions of children, so safety and moderation are major topics. Parents should look at parental controls, age checks and spending limits. Our safety guide for parents explains the practical steps, and our guide to what is wrong with Roblox covers the lawsuits and policy changes.
