The Giraffe is the one non-dragon in the group of legacy pets that trackers highlight, together with the Blue Dog and Pink Cat. It is sought after for the same reason as the dragons: the egg it came from is no longer available.
When trading a Giraffe, use the in-game trade window, double-check the final offer on screen and ignore anyone who rushes you.
