Jade Shadows: Constellations (Update 43) launched June 17, 2026 with a sequel quest to Jade Shadows, Sirius & Orion (the first 2-in-1 Warframe) and Styanax Prime.
Jade Shadows: Constellations is Warframe’s Update 43, released free on all platforms on June 17, 2026. It is the game’s first sequel quest, continuing the Stalker’s story from Jade Shadows, and it adds Sirius & Orion, the 65th Warframe and the first that is two Warframes in one.

The quest
The Stalker has to end a conflict between two versions of his son, Sirius and Orion, as two rival futures collide. Play the original Jade Shadows quest first: Constellations follows straight on from it. After the quest you choose a mentor, either Ryoku, the Ash Protoframe, or Vena, the Garuda Protoframe.
Sirius & Orion
You control two Warframes as one and swap between them in combat:
- Sirius throws his scythe across the battlefield and creates a growing healing sanctuary for allies.
- Orion slashes through enemies and summons a roaming black hole that pulls them in.
- Shared Ultimate: both clash in the air, damaging everything in their path.
Railjack missions
New post-quest Railjack missions in Uranus Proxima use your chosen mentor’s own ship. You can recruit that mentor as a permanent Railjack crew member and board the rival Protoframe’s ship in a space battle.
New gear
- A new scythe, Pride or Wrath, depending on whose timeline it comes from.
- Five new Incarnon weapons and four new Atragraph mod designs.
- Styanax Prime with more energy and shields and an extra Naramon polarity, plus the Afentis Prime speargun and Athodai Prime pistol. Get them with Platinum or for free through gameplay.
- A Nidus ability retouch for better survivability, a new Tytonis skin for Dante, and Ryoku’s and Vena’s hairstyles for the Operator and Drifter.
FAQ
Do I need to play Jade Shadows first?
Yes. Constellations is a direct sequel, so finish the original Jade Shadows quest and its prerequisites first.
Does my mentor choice matter?
It decides which Protoframe joins your Railjack crew and which scythe, Pride or Wrath, you receive.
