How much does Tartaragno make?

The table shows how much cash Tartaragno generates over common play sessions at its base rate. Steal a Brainrot pays income every second while the brainrot sits on a pad in your base, so longer sessions add up quickly, especially for higher rarities.

TimeCash earned
1 minute780
10 minutes7.8K
30 minutes23.4K
1 hour46.8K
3 hours140K
8 hours374K
24 hours1.12M

In one hour, Tartaragno earns about 31.2 times its own price. That is a very fast return, so buying it early in a session is almost always worth it.

How brainrot income works

Each brainrot standing on a pad in your base adds its income to a collector that fills every second. Walk over or press the collect button to move that cash into your wallet, then spend it on more brainrots, upgrades or rebirths. Income only builds while the brainrot is in your base, so a stolen brainrot stops earning for you immediately and starts earning for the thief. That is why defence matters as much as buying: protecting Tartaragno keeps its 13 per second flowing.

Tartaragno income with multipliers

Base income is only the starting point. Rebirths, mutations, traits and limited events can multiply what a brainrot earns, and the effects stack in game. Use this table to estimate Tartaragno with common multipliers, then check exact bonuses in your own game, because multiplier values change with updates.

Is Tartaragno worth it?

Compared with the rest of its rarity, Tartaragno pays back at about the same speed as a typical Common brainrot, so it is a fair, average buy. The median Common brainrot costs 1.1K, earns 10 per second and pays back in about 2 minutes. Tartaragno costs more than that median and earns more.

Value is not the only thing that matters. Your base has a limited number of pads, so in the long run the brainrots with the highest income per second win, even if they took longer to pay back. A good rule is to buy fast-payback brainrots early to build cash, then replace them with the highest earners you can afford, and sell or swap the weakest pad whenever you upgrade.

Cheaper or stronger alternatives to Tartaragno

No brainrot in our database costs the same or less than Tartaragno while earning more per second, so at its price point it is the strongest earner you can buy.

When you are ready to upgrade, these are the cheapest brainrots that earn more than Tartaragno:

Where Tartaragno fits in your progression

Tartaragno is an early-game brainrot. You can afford it within your first minutes in a fresh server or right after a rebirth, and it helps you move from zero income to a steady trickle of cash. Fill your empty pads with brainrots like this first, because an empty pad earns nothing. As soon as Epic and Legendary brainrots become affordable, swap Tartaragno out to make room, since every pad you upgrade raises your total income per second. Early-game brainrots are also handy as cheap fusion or trade fodder later on.

Rebirths reset your cash and brainrots in exchange for permanent bonuses, and some rebirths require you to own specific brainrots. Before you rebirth, check whether Tartaragno is needed for your next one, and plan purchases so the brainrots you buy now also help you meet the next requirement.

How to get Tartaragno

Tartaragno appears on the red conveyor belt in the middle of the map. When it rolls past, walk up to it and buy it for 1.5K before another player does; it then walks to an empty pad in your base. You can also steal Tartaragno from another player whose base is unlocked, carrying it back to your own base without getting hit.

About the Common rarity

Common brainrots are the cheapest in the game and appear on the conveyor all the time. They are what you buy in your first minutes, before you have cash for anything better. Their income is low, but they pay back quickly, so filling empty pads with Commons is a sensible way to start earning. Replace them as soon as you can afford Rare and Epic brainrots, because pad space is the real limit on your income. Commons are rarely worth stealing, so thieves usually ignore them.

Rarity order from lowest to highest: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Brainrot God, Secret and OG. See the rarities explained guide for the full breakdown.

How to protect Tartaragno from thieves

Every brainrot in your base can be stolen, and higher-value ones attract the most attention. Lock your base whenever you leave it: the lock is active for 30 seconds when you join, and after that you can lock it for 60 seconds plus 10 seconds for each rebirth. Stay near your base when the lock is about to run out, and keep your most valuable brainrots on the pads farthest from the entrance so thieves need more time to grab them.

If someone does steal Tartaragno, chase them. A player carrying a stolen brainrot moves more slowly, cannot use items and triggers an alert, and a single hit sends the brainrot straight back to your base. Using speed upgrades and staying in servers with fewer players also helps. For more defence tips, read the Steal a Brainrot hub.
