What happens if the Sheriff shoots an Innocent?
Both the Sheriff and the Innocent die, and the Sheriff's gun drops on the floor. Any surviving Innocent can pick it up and become the Hero.
How do I get knives and guns in MM2?
Collect coins on the map during rounds and spend them on crates in the shop, or trade with other players. Rare knives and guns are mostly traded, since crate odds for Godly items are low.
Are there active Murder Mystery 2 codes?
No. Several trackers checked between 14 and 23 October 2026 found no active public MM2 codes. All 17 widely documented older codes have expired, but the code box is still in the game, so future codes could appear.
How do I redeem a Murder Mystery 2 code?
Open Inventory in the game, type the code into the EnterCode box and press Redeem. Codes are case-sensitive, so copy them exactly. Codes are redeemed in the game, not on Roblox.com.
Why is my Murder Mystery 2 code not working?
Almost always because the code has expired. Only trust new codes announced by the developer, Nikilis, on official channels.
Murder Mystery 2 (MM2) is a Roblox social deduction game by Nikilis, first released in 2014. Each round, one player is secretly the Murderer, one is the Sheriff, and everyone else is Innocent. The Murderer has to eliminate everyone before the timer runs out. The Sheriff has to work out who the Murderer is and shoot them, and the Innocents have to hide, survive and collect coins.
It is one of the longest-running hits on Roblox, with more than 27 billion visits. MM2 is also known for its trading scene. Knives and guns come in rarities from Common to Godly and Chroma, and players trade them in a huge unofficial market.
